The school of health was established in 1990 after admitting students in an associate degree in the field of fight against diseases in terms of health department and continued its activities by admitting students in the fields of environmental health and family health in 1992. The department was promoted to the health institute with the permission of the Development Council of Medical Universities in 1994.
To provide educational services and researches to improve the quality and quantity of general health in the society the health institute was prompted to the school of health in 2008 with the permission of the Development Council of Medical Universities after the admission of students in B.A degree in the fields of general health, environmental health, and nutrition.
Mission: Our mission is to train specialists in health services and to provide basic and applied research related to health to ensure, maintain, and promote society s health and the quality of life in a healthy environment.
