The School of Allied Medical Sciencesis, the latest addition to MUI schools, has been established to house academic departments in biomedical sciences including Medical Lab Sciences, Radiology, Anesthesia, and Emergency Medicine. The aim is to create a school with modern equipment and facilities for education, training and research in biomedical sciences.
Date of establishment: 2014
This is a truly multidisciplinary school with close links and shared facilities with other schools including medical school and IUMS teaching hospitals. The students will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills they require to assume prospective roles or carry out to further higher education when the graduate.
